Thank you Darcy, unfortunately our area doesn't have a CAMHS, it is called something else I found out today. I have reached out to them also and our GP, so I hope for some referrals tomorrow. The process has been extremely frustrating though with me being passed around and moving in circles. I just do NOT understand why there isn't more help for 15 yo and why access to help is not easily found...

I have most definietly come across that and I totally understand and even agree, but when we have an extremly stubborn daughter that is begging for inpatient help and has just given up on life, staying at home, no school work getting done, husband and I taking turns off work to watch her daily it has become obvious to me that we need intensive treatment now! We have found 3 public inpatient units in NSW, 1 in QLD and a private unit in Melbourne so far..... so fingers crossed for us 🙂

I am even happy to move to a city for a month or so and pay rent so she can attend daily programs, anything to help my little girl before things become worse.

I'm running a fever, so I shall have to try to get a locum Dr to visit tonight.

The nurse (several days ago) said to take my own temperature, when feeling feverish.

She said if it's 38C or above, that's not good - it's 38.5C

Still having surgery wound issues, I hope I don't have an infection.
