I was supposed to go to the first Big Day Out in 1992 but I was too hungover. 

I went to the New Year's Eve one in Sydney in 1996. It wasn't called the Big Day Out though. There was Sonic Youth, the Beastie Boys, Pavement and The Breeders. 

The best gig I ever saw was the Beastie Boys in London at the Brixton Academy in 1998.

I lived in Adelaide when I was 16. We had to move there because of my father's work.
