Your seahorse is looking super @Gazza75 . Cant wait to see the finished product. I read that you were out at your farm this weekend. Hope you are enjoying your time away from the rat race of city life.
I have been working on my latest Diamond Painting project too. This is a square drills 30x40 sized one. I have just completed the right hand side of it. Still half to go in other words. This one, surprisingly, is much easier than the other two I did. I think the colours are easier to decipher. I did have a bit of a problem with one corner of the sticky stuff not sticking very well. Have you had that? If so, what did you do?
I am also hoping to get down to visit my family in the first week of December. It will be our Christmas visit, as I do not want to be on the road over actual christmas week. And its also my Dads birthday. So ... during the week I have sealed the two DPs I did for my Dad (Marilyn Munro) and also for my brother (the old wharf over the ocean with sunset). I used Mod Podge gloss, and am quite happy with the result. Only one coat so far, and not sure it needs another. I will then frame the both of them and have them to give to Dad and brother when I'm down there. I'm also thinking I should give my tree frog to my sister. Then there is something I made for each of them. I just know that my sister wont really appreciate it though, and may even just ditch it like she did with some of our joint photos from our South Africa trip many moons ago. I'm of mixed thoughts on the matter. I think I will seal Tree Frog and frame it in preparation, then decide at the last minute. I think whatever I give her, will not really be appreciated anyway, so it might as well be the frog. Sigh.
Anyway ... here is my Flower DP ... still a work in progress ... but a little over half done. I've enjoyed doing it.
@CheerBear @Shaz51 @Maggie @cutiepiekitty @Zoe7 and anyone else interested.

Hi @Former-Member ,
Thanks for sharing your latest DP 🙂 It looks really nice. It has a good number of colours in it 🙂
Funny I have my first one that has some drills that won't stick. I am probably just going to try mod podge to stick them on as there are only 4. I have heard people using that, double sided tape, nail polish and normal craft glue. I haven't had any luck with the glues I have tried on projects so I'll try mod podge. I don't have any nail polish and reluctant to purchase so I haven't tried it. I'm fairly sure people use baby wipes to clean and then get the canvas sticky again as well. Well done on sealing two of them so far, I've still only used spray paint/gloss on 2 projects so far. It didn't stick the drills as much as I had hoped.
I hope its not to many that you have to try and fix like that. As for the frog and your sister I'd probably get her something else if you can. If she won't appreciate it, then she doesn't deserve it. It was your first and come out really nice so IMHO you should keep it fo yourself Sherry. Really glad you are able to travel prior to xmas to give Marilyn to your Dad. Fully understand not wanting to be on the roads over that period, something I will have to weigh up soon myself.
I'm at my farm for another day. It's really quite warm. A lot more smoke and haze around yesterday on the tablelands than I expected. Not quite as bad today, but, really a lot around yesterday evening.

Hi all ... @Gazza75 @CheerBear @Maggie @BlueBay @Shaz51 etc
Yes @Gazza75 it has 50 different drill colours in it that one of the flower.
I have now framed the two pics for my Dad and my brother. Got them ready to go when we head down their for the long roadtrip next Monday. I have taken a photo of the two pics to show you. They look quite good .. at least I think so. Although the photo has some background glare from the glass of the frame, especially the Marilyn one which has a dark background. So ignore the background reflections within the glass.
How was your stay on the farm last weekend? We had a really hot day here yesterday, it got to 38C before a storm came through and gave us another 3mms of rain. But big wind storm accompanied it. I note that Sydney really copped it too ... anyone in Sydney ... I hope you are not one of the many who have power down and suffered damage from falling trees. The smoke haze here is the best its been in over a month. Its amazing ... I can see the trees down the back yard again. Storms 2 nights ago stirred up some of the fires, and some lightening strikes started up a few fires too. But our wonderful fireys got them all under control quickly. Looks like the major fires around here are now either 'under control' or 'being controlled'. So thats a major improvement on Emergency level and/or Watch and act of a few weeks ago. Phew.
Anyway here is a pic of the two diamond paintings I'm taking for my Dad and my brother next week.

Wow @Former-Member !! 🙂
They both look really great framed up 🙂 Both of them are in nice frames. I'm sure your Dad will really like his prezzie 🙂
I was in the city yesterday, it was very hazy and smelly up there, it cleared up a little in the afternoon which was nice. I wasn't effected by the wild weather that lashed Sydney. I actuallly ducked out from work a little early so I got home at a more reasonable time. It looked pretty crazy on the news that all that damage was done in under 10 minutes.
They stay at the farm was nice. Warmest day so far this year, my place seems to keep the heat in even after it gets dark and should be cooling down. I was planning on getting one of my motorbikes going, but, forgot to pack the jerry can so that didn't eventuate.
How did you go with the drills that weren't sticking properly? I used some regular craft glue on the 4 that I was having issues with. I hope to finish my seahorse by the weekend, after that I will probably work on a really big one I have. Fairly sure that will take me months to get through 🙂

Thanks @greenpea @Maggie @BlueBay @CheerBear
Thank you too @Gazza75 . I totally agree with Greenpea .. your sparkly tree is gorgeous.
I have decided that I will give my green tree from to my sister. I cannot go down there for a family visit, and give something I made to my Dad and my Brother ... but nothing for my Sister.
So I have sealed and framed it in a black frame with a nice orange border thingy. I like it, and I hope sister will too. I think it will go with her home decor. Although I have not been to her place in a long time. Too many bad memories there for me, its where my trauma occurred, before I sold the house to my sister. It used to be my home, but now I cannot go there. Sad really. Anyway I hope my sister appreciates it and puts it somewhere on the wall for others to enjoy even if she doesnt.
I am about to head off to the gym shortly, while hubby is having a post breakfast sleep. And this afternoon I hope to get stuck into a bit more of my latest diamond painting project ... my 'flower'. Going prett well so far, although little chance to do any the past few days. Hopefully today, as I need the distraction.
Here is the pic ... hope you like it too. What do you reckon with the orange border .. too much, or about right? I wanted to emphasise the orange in his eyes. Once again try to ignore the reflected images in the background.
