Hi everyone 🙂

I have been sneaking in as much time as I can with my hooks and finished this special one. 

A couple of years ago, almost to the day, I was given a handmade blanket during a really tough time. I wanted to give one back and have been motivated to finish it so it coincided with the time I was given mine. I'm happy with the way it turned out and hope someone finds the same kind of comfort in this as I did having my blanket. 

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed making a granny square project so I've started another. This is a different kind of one as it is a "grapghan" made by using a corner to corner method to piece large blocks together. Mine will be of characters (designed by people way more clever than me) from an awesome book series. Points to Ravenclaw for guessing the theme of it 😉

Hope anyone getting their craft on is enjoying it. My quiet moments with my projects are definitely keeping me sane(ish) right now 🙂

I need to finish a baby blanket I’m crocheting fir a friends baby. She had her baby the other day. 

I’d love to make a square blanket like what you have done. But I don’t know how to do it. I’ll have to google it. I csnt wait to see yours when it comes up.

Hi @BlueBay. So good to hear you've been crocheting too. There are lots of beginner patterns out there for granny squares of all kinds that aren't too hard especially if you've already got the foundations of crochet going.

If there's anything you're interested in having a go at and would like some help or some pointing in a starting direction let me know and I'll see if I can 😊
