massive storm here the other morning, brought down trees everywhere and we lost power. The cricket starts this week though (yes a big, big yawn to some non-converts but it beats footy) so we need sunshine for that.

Do you watch the cricket on the telly or do you go to the matches? I've gone through phases of watching cricket, mostly 20/20 stuff and it can be pretty entertaining stuff

power was out for about 5 hours, long enough for me to stroll the streets desperately seeking a breakfast coffee, if the world was ending it was not doing it without coffee.

I watch you-tube cricket highlights and think the Big Bash for 20/20 is great fun usually watching it on TV. My next trip to a game is day 3 of the boxing day test with my son, not only good entertainment but a good family day.

My week has been better that the last few weeks. I recently made a post and had some good responses and decided to put that advice/encouragement into action this week. Had a swim at the beach yesterday and a nice walk with a coffee by the lake today. Just focussing on getting out of the house each day, even though it feels uncomfortable. Also have been making the effort to join chat groups on FB to help with the loneliness. Gotta start somewhere.
