Thanks yes they are only found in Australia and nowhere else. Why are we letting them go extinct?
The thing about politicians is I think we need to remember that we are ultimately responsible because we avoiding these people in.
How many of the voting public I wonder have actually spent much time at all investigating the politicians that they are giving their vote to and what these politicians actually stand for?
I have a feeling they would be quite shocked and probably would have voted for a totally different person if they would only spend more time thinking about the issues

I think Australians vote because they have to. They don’t really know who or what they are voting for. There are only two main parties so not much choice but there are so many random parties confusing the vote. Personally I don’t think people research politicians and their policies because that’s too hard

I am really happy with my member of parliament. She was a great mayor of our shire for many years and we can trust her to have our best interests at heart when she is making important decisions

Also sometimes the politicians are so busy attacking the other party that they are not clearly advertising their policies.
