gardener rang me back now says no whippersnipper, he doesnt want to work, he realised its an unofficial public holiday in big town , then thinks he might go to field days tomorrow etc just playing around @SmilingGecko not sure why he  takes jobs, he talking himself out of it on the phone but maintains will be here tomorrow now, if not the day after. its 10.30am and hes been on fb since0630 til rings, 9 saying lunchtiime, then 10.30 w mouth full of food saying no wihppersnipper. man of leisure

@TAB my lawnmower man is capable and reliable which is why I try and hold onto him. He's younger and is physically fit and strong. Prior to that I had someone from The Grey Army who was messing me around. Maybe just had health problems or plain worn out at his age. Maybe try someone a lot younger? I had a comment from a pest remover a while back that pest removers don't want to work. You call them out and they never arrive. That is what he said.  At least I know I can call on him if wasps or bees get caught in the wall cavity again
