Evening @Adge  how did you get on today?

Hi @Former-Member I saw the surgeon today.

He said yes, with infections (& wound splits) - I'm not well enough to return to work next week (need more time off).

Yet he didn't answer my questions about:

1)When it will be okay for me to bend over (I was told not to).

2) When it will be okay to do my Yoga classes again (which involve bending & stretching).

3) How long I need to keep wearing this waist pressure band for.

He did not give me a script for antibiotics either, even though he acknowledged that I still have a wound infection.

Which means that I will have to make yet another trip to a Dr (or call locum), if infection does not clear soon.

A bit frustrating - I asked all the right questions, & gave the surgeon as much information (Re:infection) as possible.

Yet no action was taken, & my questions were not answered.

Can I gently suggest you ring the surgeons rooms @Adge and let them know  the doc did not tell you how long to wear bandage, no bending  and yoga resumption. They will let you know if doc will ring you or if a further appt needs to be made.
