IBS and Body Image
Hello! I was wondering if anyone has any tips on improving body image when you have an eating disorder and IBS? I have been really struggling recently with these three things combined. I have done a FODMAP diet, but have not been able to identify what is upsetting my tummy. Every time this happens I get bloated and sore. This ruins my self-esteem and body image. I am constantly body checking in the mirror. I am tired of all of this but I feel like I have tried everything to help myself move past this and I can't seem to be able to... Anyone else been through something similar?

I apologise that no one has responded until now.
please feel free to have a look around and also join in wherever you like.
to tag other members just put an @ before their name, that way itll tag them for you so they receive a notification.
I have a condition called disordered eating- I don't really fit into any catagories but I also have low self esteem for various other reasons.
have you got any supports in place to try and help with your IBS like a good gp or a dietician/other specialist? I know theres also many IBS support groups on social media who may be able to provide some support as well.
I don't experience this type so im probabaly not much help in this case but wanted to welcome you anyway.
have you got a psychologist you could speak with?
The butterfly foundation which ill link here has a phone number and also a webchat as well that ive found helpful to use before, maybe theyd be helpful for you too..
