Hay fever related depression
Hi guys, Fee1 here, havent been on the forums for a while - apologies. Hello to everyone, hope you are all doing OK!
I have an ongoing MI which is usually under control, but with hay fever I have been hit with a pretty solid dose of depression. I have read that people who have a MI can suffer more depression with hay fever. for me it seems to come in November when the grasses come out. Has anyone experienced this and can recommend anything that has helped?
I would be very grateful for your advice - most Drs - including specialists dont really seem to recognise it - let alone help with it.
Happy festive season to everyone - if you are in to it, best regards, Fee1

Re: Hay fever related depression
Wow... interesting read @Fee1 . I've never heard of that one before!
I had severe hayfever and depression in the past... so maybe there's a link?
Over the years, I had immunotherapy to reduce the severity of my hayfever. I'm pretty good now in terms of both hayfever and depression. However, when I get bouts of hayfever, I do get frustrated and aggitated, but I can't say I get 'depressed'.
Sorry I'm not of much help @Fee1 but I'll definitely keep my ears and eyes open for any literature or research that looks into hayfever+depression.
