Good morning crafty people 🙂
@saturnzoon your leaping stripes looks awesome! Love the colours. Did the video link help with the ends? It's hard to tell how long my squares took as I spent chunks of time doing them. I started about a week ago. I'm planning on sending it to Kogo anonymously (so much has to be anonymous for me). I've been trying out different ways of joining them all this morning. Do you have a favourite method you use?
I'd love to be able to order more yarn for my epic garden project @outlander but it needs money and brain power to calculate how much I'll use that I don't have enough of at the moment 😏
A cotton blanket for your aunt will be beautiful! I havent used much cotton and my first big cotton project is my garden blanket. From what I've seen it's a bit more expensive than acrylic yarns and I dont know much about it really. I knew I'd be spending a bit to make my garden so I researched to find the one I liked most which is one I'd been drooling over for a while 😉 It's from a brand called Scheepjes. I'm using both cotton 8 which is solid and sunkissed which I think would be considered 'heathered' (kind of multicoloured) creating a dappled effect which is beautiful! It's ultra soft and lightweight but it is 4ply so it's much thinner than 8ply and needs a smaller hook and lots more yarn. Spotlight have some nice feeling and looking cottons too though. Looking forward to hearing what you decide!

Kogo is "Knit One Give One" @outlander 🙂 There's also Craft Ministry Australia which is a directory of charities of all kinds, looking for handmade goodies.
I like carnival yarn. It's the Big W yarn yeah? It's not hugely pricey and I can duck to the shop to get it and I havent had an issue with stock running out. The acrylic yarn is sturdy and works well for fiddly and sometimes frustrating joining of amigurumi parts 🙂
Have you chosen a pattern? I'm loving that you're already thinking of more projects 😁👍💕

Yeah @outlander ..... it’s a brooch ..... made from a kit from the art markets, but then you can embellish it any way you like. I changed out the button that came with it for this rough shell one, and added some beads.

I'm sure your dog looked awesome even if it didn't look like Toby @CheerBear but I love that you wanted it to look like him - gives me warm fuzzies CB
Love the brooch @Faith-and-Hope - my colours
