Hugs to you too @Sophia1 . Did a back catalogue blast from past this morning . Thanks brain. .. my father saying ‘you are weak’ in my head. That was probably 20yrs ago when it was said verbatim . No, no fathers day acknowledgement this year. I just feel bad today. No great hopes on snapping out of it anytime soon. And yes I know its me doing it. Doesn’t make it easier. Huh helped tho 😸

my son's are not happy with their dad....

mothers....

my mother is not speaking to me...she is 92 though....so I am letting her make choices about her life ...

odd thing is since mother not in the middle ....sister and I are getting on far better than ever before...

aside from the fact that we have both been physically unwell for too long...

feel the sad....call it out loud...then distraction....

you are wonderful the way you are...just in case you are trying to live up to impossible expectations...

Thankyou @Sophia1 😀 um yeah had protracted shouting matches with said father xmas 2016 I couldn’t do anything right. And it was similar last October . Seems Im a thorn in his side/whipping boy. And he just turned 94 maybe all that crud keeps him going. Worst part was him praising others in front of me and him not being able to acknowledge the way he’d been with me. Anyhoo. I am sure that you have heard this once too often...

when they hit over the 90 mark even younger for some

they do not seem to like some of their children...so they pick the ones they want around them...usually the ones that they can control...

My mind struggle state and unwell "family member" is too much for my mum...too confronting...so out of sight..out of mind...

Still dark here, but at least I slept a bit longer. @TAB I hear you. Not working myself, not by choice, but on the outside people in shops etc always look so secure and content - not true, just having their facades up. I always feel like the odd one, I think I actually am with my career and family driven friends... I just want to go to an adult daycare, do what I want and have someone look after me. Just can't get a grip of my life since hospital. Brain stopped working long ago. But I try, every single f day...
