Re: Good Morning!

Wow that sounds heavy, but can relate to that @Former-Member Glad you got sleep I did as well. I think if I started walking again would feel better. Well and self care in whatever basic form. I spent decades probably mostly not working. Career people dropped off long ago. Nothing in common. Well except for periods of months when I thought things going well. Yes re daycare. I told someone once years ago I felt like disabled guy with sad look on face standing at bosses desk saying help me in old disability tv ad. I guess I never knew persistence or couldn’t sustain responsibility. There was always some reason to quit jobs and never found the right one if there was one. Anyway just a bit down on self lately and finding self thinking of times and things I did that I really enjoyed even a year ago and wonder why I can’t seem to do that again. Just seems harder to pick self up after so many times and getting older doesn’t help 😀 I’ll get there. Just going to need effort. Damn. Lol

Re: Good Morning!

Good morning @TAB @outlander @Former-Member and everyone else who is awake.

Had a rough night last night, we have a lot of Trouble with the next door neighbours, the police are over there quite often and last night we heard a big bang and i thought they had hit the fence but my son saw the lady run into our bin and then she got out of her car and hit my sons car where the petrol tank is and It's now dented, then she started yelling and going off  my son went outside and started giong off at her to see what her problem was but she was off her face. she finally went inside and the police said there's nothing they can do unless it gets physical. I have been trying to find rental for over 4 months but because we have animals have been unsuccessful  as they have a house shortage hear in adelaide they said and there getting more than 50 applicants for one house and if you have animals your put on the bottom of the list. My youngest son and i don't go out the front when there home.

Re: Good Morning!

Morning forumites
Hope you have a nice Saturday

Re: Good Morning!

Thats crap re neighbours @saturnzoon sounds like mine that seem to have departed well in jail most likely. They never did anything to me that I know of well except fear and intimidation but cops there often and used to hear all sorts of terrible stuff. Apparently they say its hard to get public housing in WA assuming you meant public, waiting list here like a year lol. Was 13yrs wait nearly 20yrs ago in SA easier to get a place if say would take country?

Re: Good Morning!

Thanks @TAB

I am on the list for public housing and community housing but as you said their waiting lists are forever, so ive been trying private rentals and when you have animals and there getting more than 50 applicants per house the realestates go through them and always put people without animals to the landlords first unfortunately.

I can't go country or to far as my son has Autism and set routines, i can't change his school so it's pretty hard just hope that eventually someone will give me a chance.

Re: Good Morning!

That’s tough @Former-Member also had no idea re private rentals. There are lots empty houses where I am. Place I got is thru private landlord who is interstate never met him and they don’t bother me and he dropped the rent

Re: Good Morning!

Yes @saturnzoon, we have lots of empty house where I live too @TAB

but it is too far from specialists

My niece has a daughter who has Autism, but they have to move to the city now to get any assistance

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB@Shaz51  thank you, i have heard about private rental,  but no idea how to do that and cause of my social anxiety and memory lapses i would have to rely on my older boys to do it especially as one of them is my career but he Doesn't help me properly as it is unfortunately

Re: Good Morning!
