Best to leave it where it is maybe? Idk. I'm not one for giving career advice either. Accidentally took something home on Wednesday I should not have. Looked like a right idiot. But returned it as soon as I realised.

@TAB A lot depends on the individual work culture.  Also as we age we are less likely to to put up with bad management.  Also have less to prove.  When I was running my own business, it was hard in some ways but also very freeing to be able to make my own calls.

At the zoo they have very specific protocols based on temperature. They know the physical limits fairly well, so I was really impressed that they also went to the effort of telling us that a shift was cancelled due to heat.

yeah its all done with now @MDT  as I thought it was yest til it all turned into a mad muddle with them saying improbable things,based on what was said prior, and trying to pretend things that had happened hadnt etc anyhoo
