Mum is still in hospital, she’s been having physio and anti inflammatory gel  massaged into her sore spots along with pain relief.  I went to see her this afternoon and the hospital is in lock down due to gastro so no visitors allowed.   Lucky I had called in this morning before the lock down.

I have changed Drs on her behalf, her Dr has not helped her for a long time now, all he wants to do is write out scripts for more drugs - mostly morphine type meds.  He never even did a physical exam when she had the fall.  A different Dr was on call on Sunday and he admitted her, I had a meeting with him today and he has agreed to continue her care and be her Dr - our whole family is overjoyed as he is a fantastic Dr and is very hard to get in to see, so he hasn’t been taking new patients for quite some time.  We are so lucky that he has accepted mum.  He also believes strong meds are the last resort after physical therapies.

Fingers crossed she avoids this gastro bug and continues to get better so that she can come home soon 🤞🤞
