What state are you in?

You could call lifeline for support for your daughter, even if you call them yourself to just get some advice.

Their number is 131 114

Thank you @Oaktree

Thank you @MJG017 - I also feel the system has failed me - I will stick by her always and keep trying. We are reaching out for support but she also pushes it away. We won’t stop trying 💔

@B_D_V  It definitely has failed you as well!  It's failed all of you.  With being hurt in the past, she does have reasons to not want to expose herself to that again, but hopefully in time she will see that it doesn't mean it will happen again should she be willing to try.  But I totally understand that it must be a really difficult hurdle for her.

Do you think she may be more willing to see someone that you had talked to privately first and you had confidence in them?  Assuming you did of course.

At she's lucky to have such a loving and caring mother.

Hello @Beyondcrazy

How are you today?

I am well crazy too

Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

Hello @Oaktree,

I'm good. How are you?

Yeah everyone is a little crazy but I spent a long time being referred to different mental health services and professionals because they didn't have the skills to deal with the complexities of my mental health issues. I list my diagnoses in my post on the introduction thread

@Beyondcrazy

I am good too, I will pop over to the other thread and have a look.

Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

@Ru-bee great job on the knitting. My mum knits so much too. She does beanies and blankets for the local homeless shelter.

I managed to clear a few things out of the garage thanks to your inspiration!
