Re: One Day at a time here

@Shaz51 mmm same deal everywhere eh? Too sick to function, not sick enough to get treatment. And yeah, same deal for the 'but you don't look sick!' kinda commentary. Can be soooo frustrating!

Aww you're sweet, I will pass them on! And since we're handing out hugs, here's a pile for you!!

Re: One Day at a time here

I was thinking of you today and wondering if there was any more news @Shaz51

How are you feeling after the results?

Re: One Day at a time here

Hi @Ru-bee

I am feeling relieved that my kidney function has increased to 19 % from 17 % and is stable again

Then I ask what I can do to help " and the doctor replied Nothing can be done "

@Jynx

Re: One Day at a time here

That must be hard hearing that it's out of your control @Shaz51 that's never a comfortable thing to sit with

Re: One Day at a time here

It is hard @Ru-bee

What's worse is all the advice I get from family members who don't really understand

Re: One Day at a time here

Sounds like mixed news @Shaz51 . But kidney function stable is OK.

Better balance, and preventing falls... keeping yourself safe... I hope they're helping you with that.

Re: One Day at a time here

Aww @Shaz51 that's so hard!!

And doubly so when you get invalidated to boot. What do you say in return, do you try to explain or do you just try to ignore them?
