Thanks for the tag @eth . And hello everyone who is checking in today.
Another cold windy, looks like it could rain kind of a day here - it’s a bit of a mood killer. I’m a 40°+ is my happy place kind of gal, and Victorian weather just isn’t doing it for me lately.
So, today I’m staying in doors by the heater cutting up material and hopefully seeing it back together into a beautiful quilt. It’s a pattern I’ve never done before - a Mariners Compass for those die hard quilters out there that know what I’m talking about. Lots of points, lots of pieces cut in the bias. So, tonight I’ll feel like I’ve achieved a LOT, or I’ll be rocking backwards and forwards in the fetal position wondering what the h€ll I was thinking trying this particular pattern. Wish me luck 🤞🍀
Hope everyone has a nice relaxing day and can just leave all your troubles behind for a bit - that’s what I’m doing. They’ll all still be there tomorrow but today I concentrate on something else.

Flashing your boobs at the crop-seeking helicopters - I am enjoying that picture in my mind
A while back we had a helicopter flying around in circles here - searching for someone - it wasn't me - but they spotted me staring up at them and flashed their light at me standing i my PJs outside the front of my unit. I waved back - and I am no spring chicken but I give as good as I get
We need memories like that - as I Melbournite I felt okay joining the buskers singing at Circular Quay - they wanted me to stay longer but I thought I'd been there long enough - but what a memory to enjoy! what a story to share!

A captive Tabby Cat - oh no - that sounds terrible - I guess they were offended if you didn't drink with them - sniding that you thought they weren't good enough to drink with. Damn! I hate that
Cause I am no wowser but a small amount of alcohol does it for me - a drop more over-does it - massive headaches can follow - a bottle of good Aussie fortified wine lasts for ages here - luckily I have only had a couple of episodes where I had to leave because the drinking culture was too much for my delicate being
A captive - that's bad - you certainly know to be busy that night if you are asked or requested to attend again.
I am really glad you like the picture - I will keep that one on my desktop for future use
Sending my best so you might recover quickly

I said to someone "I don't like being 50, I should be about 30" - they grinned & said "50 is the New 40".
Oh yeah (I said)...
I get helicopter fly-overs, I don't know what they're looking for....
They're too high up, so I can't flash anything at them
