thanks for that @eth
Yeah it improves a bit every day. Doing the usual stretching etc, it is the joys of getting old my friend lol.
I will take some pain killers to help tonight, but it will be fine.
Going to see Irish comedian Dylan Moran from the ABC show Black Books which also starred Bill Bailey. Should be a hoot!!!!!
From your posts you have been extremely busy!!! I got exhausted just reading your goings on lol. Hope all went well xxxxxxx

I get exhausted too @Scarecrowe Also had twinges in my back this week, tho the water tai chi tends to stretch them out. We're def not the spring chickens these days - I'm 56 (going on 35 in my head!). The show sounds fabulous - enjoy!

LOL @Owlunar you in your 'splasher' with small planes overhead reminded me of an era of my life (in early 30s) where I lived in a remote valley in nthn nsw and we used to get helicopters overhead looking for pot crops - I used to dash outside and flash my boobs at them to let them know we knew they were there!! Wild old days indeed.

I am feeling your back pain @eth Nothing worse when you injure the back. As I have said to friends the only movement that does not hurt when you injure your back is blinking, because the rest of your body is attached to your back.
Yes we are not spring chickens anymore that is for sure.............my body keeps reminding me I am 49, by mind tells me I am in my 30's for sure......
Looking forward to the show immensley......it has been booked for ages, so a long wait. Also have not seen my sister since her eldest's birthday which was September so will be good.

Hi @eth
I'm a rather conventional eater - it probably comes from the rather limited diet I had when I was a kid to having my own health-kicks in mature life but I love that pasta dish on your link - in spite of my natural desire for plain dishes I could really have a go at that one - thanks for posting it
I have the usual salad stuff, lettuce, tomatoes, snow-peas, carrots and a good-sized rump steak I got yesterday as well - which will do for 2 meals - I prefer not to have dressing on my salads - but over the winter I accumulated a large number of herbs and a few spices - I am having too many back and knee problems to do my garden atm - maybe ths will improve with summer - I hope so - but I enjoy adding herbs to my cooking so I imagine I will add garlic to my steak and oregano to my salad - or basil - certainly mint - but not all on the one day - one has to draw a line somewhere or it can be over-powering
And I might fry some potato - I haven't deep fried chips since - ah - would that be 1974 when I had a kitchen accident - the rest of the story has been deleted in case it is too dramatic - let the imagination run riot - that is such a long time ago too
Yes - let's here everyone's summer diet plans

@Owlunar I think I might have had a similar accident when cooking pappadums in the 80s - lets just say that wearing stockings at the time made it quite a bit worse. I haven't cooked them since either.
I was totally vego for so long that I am still not a confident meat cook, but I do enjoy a good steak occasionally - yours sounds good.

Sleep well @TAB might see you later.
I'm going to water the vegie garden now - it really needs a good drink after yesterday's heat and wind. Will see you all later I hope - @Owlunar @Scarecrowe @Bunniekins @Adge @Former-Member

Wow Tabby Cat - yeah - maybe you shoulda known better - now you do!
The important question is - did you enjoy yourself? If you need - it might be a good memory of a juvenile fling that makes your trip in the the more senior years better fun
If you didn't have a good time - wow - that feels droopy - I used to have an emoticon of a droopy little flower - consider it inserted - maybe I can find one in clip art for you
But you are with us this morning and it is still morning - I hope you feel better as the day progresses

The droopy flowers didn't quite say it but this - perfect Tabby Cat
