Breaking cycles is hard! The body doesn’t like change.

Edipose tissue - fat cells, get smaller, but they like staying big.

Then there’s the headaches because you’re going through carbohydrate withdrawal.

The first week is hell. Second week the body stops fighting you.

@Glisten my day has been messed up. My doctors appointment has been cancelled and I really needed that appointment today. Now I don't know what to do 😞

How did your appointment go? 

My doctor gets on my back about the injections. I can't afford them. I said I'll try them when they get on PBS that shuts him up for a bit

lol @avant-garde  yeah I said had big initial loss going back on it, then nothing next 2 weeks, but its been making me sick. am on 1.7 its over $400. I used an old script I still had after I last stopped. Think going off it again. its free in Britain.

um intern was good, got bloods to do for thyroid, about it, bloods were all okay sugar, liver , kidneys , creatinine etc , so gout meds working re creatinine. it was double what it is now back in September.

Got another appt tomorrow . pre admission w anaesthetist for Gastro endoscopy next week.

Glad to get out of drs sat 45 mins not moving was dizzy when got up.

It's on PBS for diabetics but I'm not diabetic.

I need to get my iron levels retested after the infusion last year... should do that, my regular doctors appointment is every 4 weeks.

Glad all your bloods were ok!

okay I didnt know @avant-garde  not diabetic, blood sugar gone down if anything was 5.9 fasting ie same as 10 years ago when weighed a heck of a lot less and exercised more. My bad cholesterol is less than half what it was couple years ago lol
