Hey @tyme
It’s a really really bad day.
The Lego took ages so I’m glad it is finished. There is a winder that turns the screen to different scenes and Mario jumps up and down within it. Mario is my favourite character.
I don’t see her for another week and a half. My roster makes everything so much harder.
How was your day?

I hear that having your roster makes things so much harder @Captain24 .
Honestly, I think a roster like that makes life harder in general. By the time you've finished a day/night shift and then work a night/day shift, you don't know whether you are Arthur or Martha!
I feel these shifts just wrecks your system, let alone affect mental health.
I know how rigid I have to be with sleep, meds and all... yet I'm thinking that a roster like yours probably means you can't really have that type of routine?
yesterday
Yeh it’s a tough roster. @tyme. Juggling night and dayshifts is hard in regular people. Working out meds for when sleeping and when awake is hard.
It completely wrecks everything but if I want the job I have to do it. I need to pay my house off.
How is Ruby?
yesterday
Ruby's hair grows soooo fast. She already needs another groom.
How often does Pix and Jett need grooming? @Captain24
I hear you about the shifts. It's hectic. I don't know why it's allowed. To me, isn't it more logical if people opt to work all day or all night shifts rather than both? It doesn't make sense from an OH&S stance...
Then again, I'm not HR trained so I'd have no idea.

I have heard that their hair grows fast @tyme. My two don’t need grooming. They just get bathed every 7-10 days. Once their hair reaches the length it grows it doesn’t grow anymore. I’m not sure that makes sense.
I prefer working the day than night shifts in one block. I get kind of a day off in between. I think 5 days shifts in a row would be hard. I have to get up at 4:30 every morning. Then 5 nightshifts would be hard to. I struggle with three when we do them.
It’s all above board. The coal board is very strict in what can and can’t happen. It’s totally safety first.
yesterday
Very interesting @Captain24 . I'm glad they take safety seriously. The thought of working on the mines scares me when I hear and read about things that have happened.
Anway, so that means Jett and Pix shed hair then?
The reason we got a cavoodle was because they don't shed. I used to have a labrador and she always shed.
Ruby just looks so messy without a regular groom. I'm not even going to post a pic... she looks so bad.
yesterday
Yeah.. bad stuff can happen. @tyme. I mean the worst of the worst. There are really strict safety protocols.
Pix sheds twice a year, Jett shed’s terribly his hair is everywhere.
The groodle at the hospital I go to gets groomed regularly. He is in training to be a therapy dog. He is almost through. He is a really sweet dog and loves to play ball. My psych had to come looking for me the other day as I was in with the dog.
yesterday
Nice @Captain24 . Groodle sounds lovely! They are so gentle.
Golden Retriever - no wonder it loves playing ball. It's the retriever in him/her lol.
I can't handle the shedding of hair. The hair goes EVERYwhere!
yesterday
He is so cute. @tyme He loves going down on the ward.
Long haired chihuahuas aren’t suppose to shed. Jett obviously didn’t get the memo! I have to change my doona cover weekly too as it’s covered in hair. And yes..It does go EVERYwhere!
I took my night meds 2 1/2 hours ago and they haven’t worked yet.
Do you have any plans for tomorrow?
