Looking forward to seeing your picture
@saturnzoon ๐ Are you using a pattern?
๐ @Hope4me. I wish I could take credit for the delicious colours of the was-to-be shawl but I used a variegated ball of yarn that changed colours itself. Thank you for your lovely comments though
๐Love your ideas of items that would sell. I don't think I'd do a market or sell my stuff because I think that as soon as I start making things for that reason I would lose the joy of it. I like making to give away though and making just because. Crochet would be one of my best and most used coping strategies. I often find it soothing, distracting, grounding etc (when I'm not getting so frustrated that I want to chop up whatever I'm working on
๐). Do you have a 'thing' that is your go-to?
Frogs sound awesome! I'm hearing crickets here tonight. Hope some rain came for you
๐Oooh
@Faith-and-Hope I looooove them
๐ On my bucket list since I found out about it from
@eth (I think) is to enter something in the Alice Springs Beanie Festival one year. They have tea cosies too. So cool!
I have started playing with a new type of crochet where you work off no pattern and you create pieces (scrambles) as you go then join them together. I have a long way to go to get to being able to do it myself rather than following someone else's work, but I'm going to chip away at it. They describe it as painting with a hook. Thought of you when I read that
