Hey @Bunniekins  something you asked about last night around the time I crashed - yes boofhead next door is gone - he shot through this week - great for me, but very sudden for sil and her mum who worry a lot about him drinking again - which I think he will definitely do.  Left his cat behind so I've been cat and dog sitting since yesterday.

Morning @Gazza75  hope you made it to your farm without your english visitor expiring in the heat.  Have a lovely peaceful time out there - not sure if you have wifi there or not so you might not see this til you get back.  It's been too long since I went bush for a few days.  Bro and sil have shares in an intentional community property up the Buckett's Way which I love going to.  Will be heading out there when the supercars hit town in a couple of weeks - it's madness here when that's on, we can hear the screaming engines from where we live.  Look forward to a catch up with you sometime soon x

@eth  thank god he has gone and even better left his cat (would have been worried about the cat if he had taken it with him). I am so happy that you dont have that worry of having him next door anymore.:). You really did not need that kind of stress.

Thanks @Bunniekins  I agree about the cat staying - he's a beautiful big russian blue called Rumpole.  God knows how he coped when boofhead was on a bender, but he survived and will now get a chance to thrive.  He's really affectionate when I go over to feed him.   Plus it's really nice for sil's mum to have him coz she lost her 16 year old puss earlier this year.
